There are two types of mindset. One is a positive mindset and another is a negative mindset. Creating a negative mindset or thoughts in the mind is like eating junk foods, and we know how junk foods are harmful to our bodies. Many junk foods don’t harm our body immediately but harm us slowly and internally without our knowledge when we take them repeatedly, and create many diseases for the future. Let’s start reading how your thoughts impact your life.

1. CREATE POSITIVE MENTAL IMAGES IN MIND

Dr. Joseph Murphy wrote:

“Infinite riches are all around you if you will open your mental eyes and behold the treasure house of infinity within you. There is a gold mine within you from which you can extract everything you need to live life gloriously, joyously, and abundantly.”

All negative thoughts are being created through negative mental images that you hold inside your mind through different sources. You can’t remove negative thoughts from your mind directly like we can throw away an object from one place to another because these things appear in physical form, but thoughts in the mind can’t be seen, you can only feel them. Hence, negative feelings can be deactivated through repeated positive mindsets and positive actions.

Through repetition of good and specific thoughts in mind, you can create new ideas, new plans, and new ways of working towards achieving your goals.

2. SHIFT YOUR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS INTO POSITIVE ONES

You can weaken the effectiveness of negative thoughts by shifting your negative thoughts to positive ones. See more possibilities in mind, think about your life on the positive side, and keep on adding more positive thoughts into the mind through positive mental pictures to make your thought garden of mind healthy and active, and this is always in your control; in this way, you can take control of your mind.

When you change your thoughts, you change your attitudes, you change your spoken words, you change your action habits and finally, you get changes in your outcomes.

While watching our favorite movies or listening to our favorite songs, we enjoy them because we are connecting our feelings with the same thought frequencies of those events of the movie or the music while watching or listening respectively. What we love, we keep on watching or listening to it several times, because the pictures or music replaying in the movie or songs are our thoughts and we love to bring them back several times to enjoy them. The thoughts here may be good or bad, but we still love them, and they become our predominant thoughts over time.

We are connecting our thought frequencies into the same thought frequencies of the movie or music while playing, and many times, we are feeling or placing ourselves in the same positions like we are the main role players of the events.

3. EMPOWER YOUR INNER SUPERIORITY

An American new thought author, philosopher, and businessman, 

Charles Haanel said:

“The predominant thought or the mental attitude is the magnet, and the law is that like attracts like, consequently,  the mental attitude will invariably attract such conditions as corresponding to its nature.”

You can empower your inner superiority through your constructive thoughts and with a positive mindset. Plant the useful seeds of thoughts in mind; they will take root in their own time. Don’t worry, do your best and give careful attention to plant more positive thoughts in your mind. So, you should build a positive mindset to be successful.

The greatest weapon against your stress is creating more optimistic thoughts in your mind through consciously speaking, writing, visualizing more positive things, and doing positive actions on them.

Useless weeds are the part of the thought garden, they are the negative thoughts. They can’t harm your thought garden if you are attentively removing useless weeds every time they come into your knowledge. If you appreciate those useless weeds, they will start dominating the plants to downgrade them.

4. IGNORE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS AND APPRECIATE POSITIVE THOUGHTS

Dr. Joseph Murphy once said,

“Your subconscious mind does not argue with you. It accepts what your conscious mind decrees. If you say, “I can’t do it,” your subconscious mind works to make it true. Select a better thought. The decree, “I’ll buy it. I accept it in my mind.”

To manage your positive thoughts, you have to ignore negative thoughts if they are present. You get results that harmonize with your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Your inner thoughts, spoken words, and outside actions should be in harmony, they should not be in contradictions. Your life is the images of your predominant thoughts creating more positive thoughts to empower your life. Healthy thoughts produce more healthy and powerful thoughts for your life.

What you believe subconsciously becomes the fact in the future, the time factor varies from person to person, but people get the things in their life that they think, feel and believe. When you replay a thought repeatedly in your mind over some time it becomes a fact today or afterward, it depends on the strength of your emotions on the thoughts. We don’t get life randomly; we create it through our thoughts and different emotions from time to time ahead. As you think and believe, you become. This is how your mindset effects your life.

5. ALTER YOUR THOUGHTS ON PEOPLE AND SITUATIONS

A British philosophical writer James Allen wrote:

“Man is made or unmade by himself. In the armory of thought, he forges the weapons by which he destroys himself. He also fashions the tools with which he builds for himself heavenly mansions of joy, strength, and peace. By the right choice and true application of thought, man ascends to divine perfection. By the abuse and wrong application of thought, he descends below the level of the beast.”

When you alter your thoughts on people, situations, or anything you have with, you will see them in the same eyes and thoughts. With the same thoughts, you can’t change the situations when you have created them.

Influence your mind positively with the worthwhile thoughts of your desires; once your mind is convinced with great thoughts, nobody can stop you to achieve your goals and you can do the miracle.

You have to alter your thoughts to see the solutions. To get a changed life with success, happiness, and prosperity, you have to change your thoughts in the same direction. Changing thoughts and state of mind from one state to another is a personal task, and you can do it better every time in life. 

6. DEVELOP A SUCCESS MINDSET

Success is completely impossible if you fail to develop a success mindset within you. It’s a conscious decision, and that depends on you in the whole process. Your unhealthy thoughts create depression, stress, disbelief, hatred, sadness, failure, ill-health, and many other negative emotions. Your healthy thoughts create love, faith, happiness, good health, success, prosperity, inner peace, and many other positive emotions that lead you to positive outcomes.

7. DON’T MAKE YOUR MIND A SLAVE OF OTHER PEOPLE’S THOUGHTS

If your thoughts are driven by others, your mind is the slave of other people’s thoughts, and you can’t develop faith in yourself because you are mostly accepting other people’s opinions.

In reality, outside people can’t speak about what truly you can do in life. If you don’t know about yourself, how outside people will know about you? It’s your perception; now change your thinking and change your life to success and joyfulness. You have to create a belief for every task you want to do and succeed there; the seed of belief is the emotion that you create in your mind.

Your mind is a thought garden: Plants are positive thoughts and weeds are negative thoughts. Now ask yourself which thoughts among all thoughts in your mind are more valuable to build your successful life, and who can help you to resolve your problems.

8. BE THE MASTER OF YOUR THOUGHTS

A German-born theoretical physicist and the winner of the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics Albert Einstein observed:

“The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.”

Your anger is the most destructive and negative emotion that always harms your life. When you become the master of your thoughts, you gather more powers to take control of your emotions. Managing thoughts is quite difficult but possible for people who have the inner consciousness of staying in harmony.

Your action follows your thoughts; as you think and believe, you do the same kinds of work to get the same kinds of results.

Make your mind disciplined through the positive thoughts you think, the positive words you speak, and the positive deeds you do to make your dreams fulfilled. Be honest with yourself and do every work that brings peace and inner joy.

9. DO WORK THAT GIVES INNER PEACE

One day, I met a successful person in an educational institute, and asked him about the real sense of success by his perception; he said, “success is what we get peace of mind by doing the things that are needed for achieving any objectives which we dream of.” We can only attain inner peace by doing such work which is truly honest work and good for people and society and your purpose must help others in positive ways. The people who work sincerely and help other people and society are considered as great work, and these people are revered by many people now and later on. 

Working with sincerity, love, and faith must fetch positive results. We must attain success if we sincerely do the work with a positive mindset and spirit. Your sincerity and love in your work help to create positive energies within your thought process and you get going with optimism, faith, hope, and lots of positive expectations.

If you don’t like your present outcomes; change your thoughts, decisions, and action plans, and change the ways of your workings – always prefer to change yourself. Change is essential in every step of life; you have to accept the changes from time to time to bring out the best outcomes. Change yourself; always accept the changes that come in your way if it is needed, sometimes you may have to take hard decisions that might be painful for the present timings.

The universe is always in change, everything changes its states and positions upon a time, hence, accept the changes to take better benefits of time.

The universe is always in change, people are always in change, situations are always in change, environments are always in change, and all the factors connected with our lives are always in change, so why don’t you? You can’t change the outside people because they aren’t in our control, but you can change yourself. Even you can’t change the outside situations as they aren’t in your control, but you can change yourself. Similarly, you can’t change the outside circumstances if they aren’t in your control, but you can change yourself.

2. YOU CAN’T CHANGE OTHERS, BUT YOU CAN CHANGE YOURSELF

A Scottish-American Industrialist, Business Magnate and Philanthropist, Andrew Carnegie stated it clearly when he said:

“You can’t push anyone up the ladder unless he is willing to climb himself.”

Everywhere you need to change yourself as it needs to; don’t fight with people, situations, and environments, while trying to change yourself and move on with your own pace, decisions, and determinations. Never try to change others, always change yourself from time to time; change your habits, change your attitudes, change your thoughts, change your decisions, change your associations and change the ways of your workings. You can make your decisions upon what has to be done at the right time.

If you don’t like to change yourself, you can’t bring new successes into your life. What you are today with thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, and associations, might be needed to be changed upon a time.

Accept the changes and be the change according to situations and the people you are with. A student gives more attention to his studies when he thinks and decides to perform better in his exams. Here, his attention may go to playing any games or gossiping with his friends in his extra time, while a good student postpones all extra activities and focuses on his studies, putting in more time than he did in the past days.

This change happens, because he sets his goals and works on priorities for his studies. Likewise, any person can change himself into new thoughts, new habits, new action plans and associate with new people to get his work done.

Most people set higher goals, but they don’t love to change themselves; they don’t change their mindset, they don’t change their attitudes, they don’t change their associations and they don’t change their action habits.

If you don’t change yourself upon a time, the time and situations in the future may change you, and you mightn’t control them. Before anybody or any situation changes you, change yourself and learn how to adjust yourself in much situations-this wise decision always helps you. Most people fail to achieve their desired goals because they hesitate to accept the changes that come in their way.

4. TRYING TO CHANGE OTHERS IS A WASTE OF TIME:

When you fail to change yourself, you will fail to change others because you don’t know what to do and how to do it to get the results. Changing yourself isn’t the lesson that you have to learn and speak to others; it is what you do for yourself and make many changes within you.

Creating Success needs “to be changed”; if you don’t accept the changes, you can’t attract the desired success.

Trying to change others is a waste of time because you can’t change others until others accept what you speak or do. Making little positive changes every day in you will bring many positive changes in life…

5. FOCUS ON SMALL CHANGES AT A TIME, THEN YOU CAN TAKE CONTROL OF BIG THINGS:

Focus on small changes in you every day to bring big changes upon a time; you can’t change fully to a new personality in one day, it takes time and you can do it when you consistently do the things with strong determination and positive efforts. Good habits aren’t formed in one day; it takes time and varies from person to person.

When you change yourself as required, you’ll find success in front of you. You can win yourself when you are in your control, and you can win to control your thoughts and actions. Always change yourself creating new self-esteem that can help to create a new life with new visions and hope. New life starts from your new thoughts and new dreams; they are the creator of your new life all the time.

You can’t change nature’s environment, you can’t change people, and you can’t change the outside circumstances but you can change yourself, you can adjust yourself according to situations and environments-always focus on yourself and be the change, and focus on improving your development activities.

What is a habit? 

It is when we do certain activities repeatedly over some time and then they become automatic and easy to do afterward. If you want to give up your old habits and create some new habits, first of all, give up your old habits and replace them with new habits. Bad habits are always bad for your present and future life and they may have negative influences on others in your surroundings. Hence, stay away from bad habits and develop good habits.

1. DEVELOP NEW AND GOOD HABITS

An American inspirational author and Founder of SUCCESS Magazine,

Orison Swett Marden once said:

“The beginning of a habit is like an invisible thread, but every time we repeat the act we strengthen the strand, add to it another filament until it becomes a great cable and binds us irrevocably, thought and act.”

Good habits are your best friends, while bad habits are your worst enemies; it’s up to you what you opt for in your life. You can’t stay a long time comfortably with your bad habits Because many bad habits unknowingly harm your life in the long term that mightn’t be found in today’s life.

Giving up old habits is sometimes more difficult, most people say, they can’t give up their old habits, because these are possible; are all difficult and not possible, but they didn’t think that this was possible, because they didn’t try to give up the old ones. If you don’t change your habits, you can’t change your daily living to work with a new set of goals. It needs strong decisions and persistent actions to form new habits.

Now start doing your new activities for the next 30 days, and give up your old habits convincingly that these habits are no longer active with me. My old habits are not part of my goal plans, and I must start doing the things that must help me to prosper and achieve my goals. When you do new activities daily with determination, they become auto habits and there is no need to remember them again because they have been conceived in your subconscious mind. Starting a journey with new habits is difficult, but these good habits must help you to achieve many objectives in life.

2. EXCELLENCE IS A JOURNEY

“Until you have formed the habit of looking for the good instead of the bad there is in others, you will be neither successful nor happy.”

Your life follows your predominant thoughts, and predominant thoughts can’t be built up in one day, they take several days or longer periods to grow and create their empires in your thought process when you do certain things repetitively over some time.

If you decide to become successful in life, and want to achieve many things, or want to help many people in the society; first, change your thoughts, change your attitudes, change your habits, change your spoken words and change the ways of your actions.

When you do certain activities repetitively over a period they become your habits and your predominant thought will be the same and your life follows them. When you change your actions, you also change your habits afterward and you create the same kind of mindset to proceed further.

3. DEVELOP READING HABITS OF THE BOOKS

No habit is permanent, you can change your present habits to new and good habits once you take strong decisions to achieve your new goals, and these goals must be good to you and others as well.

Read hundreds of books on success and achievements; self-help, personal improvements, motivation and inspiration, and success; anyhow you need to change your state of mind and develop a success

mindset. Until you change your state of mind to success consciousness, you can’t work for success wholeheartedly. To grow faster, you need to learn many things from other successful people-be teachable; you can read biographies of successful people. From their life, you can understand many things.

4. DEVELOP YOUR STRATEGY

Stephen R. Covey, an American educator, author, businessman, and keynote speaker wrote:

“You are not your habits. You can replace old patterns of self-defeating behavior with new patterns, new habits of effectiveness, happiness, and trust-based relationships. With genuine caring, I encourage you to open the gate of change and growth.”

You can’t pick the right things on the outside if you don’t have the same thoughts in your mind. Developing a new habit may not be possible in a short period, it takes time and varies from person to person. It is possible when you repeatedly do the things over some time. You can change your present habits into meaningful directions when you start doing things with clear goals. When you stay away from your comfort zone, you build a Winning habit for the upcoming success.

You can only build your future when you change your habits; your repeated actions shape your habits, and your repeated habits decide your character, and when you reach your destiny with the same strengths as you build yourself.

Sometimes bad circumstances and negative people create some situations on your path to disturb your state of mind on the way to success. In these situations, don’t make a swift decision to quit your achievement process even though it is painful and difficult.

Like creating dreams, you must know how to protect your dreams from negative people and circumstances.

Do four steps daily to strengthen your dreams:

Prepare a list of your dreams-what exactly what you want in life.

Write your dreams and goals daily in your dream book with deadlines, and action plans:

5. CREATE YOUR DREAM BOOK

a) Write your dreams in your dream book

Write your dreams in your dream book and write them in the present tense because your subconscious mind only understands in the present tense, it doesn’t understand the past or future. Feel positive about your dreams and visualize that you are now living with your dreams. Why do you need this confirmation before attainment, because you’ll need lots of effort to make your dreams come true, and for this reason, you must have felt an achievable success before it’s achieved? Who will work for your success, the answer is, nobody but only you? Many people might support you, but you are the leading role player in your success journey.

b) Put a Deadline on your Dream

Dream plus deadline becomes your goal, eIse your dream is only a wishful thought and it has no existence and power. Put your goals on paper and make plans to achieve them. Until you set your goals, you can’t manage your time in the right ways. Your success is nothing but your achievable goals.

c) Find the Reasons Why do you want to achieve your Dreams; Why?

Find the emotional reasons for your dreams, and then it would be easy to do the things to get it done. Many difficulties, setbacks, and challenges might come your way, but you can overcome them if you have strong reasons for your dreams. You don’t care what is happening on the outside because of emotional reasons, and your focus goes to concentrate on your work.

A weak desire can’t make you successful: you need a strong burning desire to get success in life. Most people fail in life because of weak desires, weak faith, weak decisions, and weak action plans, they don’t take strong decisions and don’t set goals because they don’t have strong reasons to achieve anything. Find the strong reasons why you want to achieve a big success in life. If the reason is clear and strong, that means, why is clear and strong: then how is it easy, that means, you can find the ways how to do it?

In the winter, early morning, when somebody goes outside for a morning walk, he may feel uncomfortable because of intense fog, cold, and moisture, but these outside effects can’t affect the person mentally if the person has the burning desire of doing the exercises for maintaining a healthy body. People find many excuses when they don’t have burning desires. You need a strong desire to overcome many difficulties and setbacks, and the people with clear visions grow much bigger and faster than the people with no clear visions.

d) Then How? Action Plans

Organize the list of your goals into plans and take immediate action on your plans. Write the action plans in 5-10 lines that motivate you to move on – write the detailed plans needed in the process. What you should do so that you can achieve your goals: When you get new ideas and knowledge upon a time from other or different sources, you can then update or modify your goal plans to new ones so that you can become more productive with these new ideas.

6. UPDATE 0R MODIFY YOUR GOAL PLANS REGULARLY

An American radio personality, reputed speaker, and author, Earl

Nightingale once said:

“All you need is a plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination.”

Always update or modify your goal plans to make your work more efficient and productive. If you don’t update or modify your goal plans periodically, that means, you aren’t single-mindedly working for your goals, and the results you’ll draw upon a time with the old plans mightn’t be very attractive towards excellent performances. Always follow the changes and be the change to perform outstandingly. You shouldn’t be the same person now with the same qualities as before.

Good habits are like depositing money in your savings account and you want to grow and prosper in the future, while bad habits are like repeatedly withdrawing money from your existing bank balance, this mindset doesn’t connect you to a secured life ahead.

Always change yourself with the needful qualities and find yourself as a new you every time ahead. If you always focus on your main activities and improve yourself over time, you are the true winner of your life.

Practice Your Knowledge, Skills, and Talents to be Successful in Life

HOW YOU CAN BUILD YOUR SELF-CONFIDENCE

You can build self-confidence when your focus goes to do constant practices, proper planning, and persistent efforts on your attained knowledge, ideas, skills, talents, and inner abilities. The first task is to identify your goal and then set plans for how to fulfill it and then you can act on your attained knowledge, ideas, talents, and skills to make it successful. You can act always and persistently on your goal plans when you’ll have clarity in mind and you believe in yourself.


Some powerful steps how to develop your self-confidence and achieve your goal:

  • Step 1: Define your goal what it is
  • Step 2: Set your goal plans how and when to achieve it
  • Step 3: Write 5-10 sentences about your action plans
  • Step 4: Start working with your present knowledge, skills, ideas, and creativity, and improve it every time as it needs, and work with your best efforts.
  • Step 5: Review your goal plans every day
  • Step 6: Action, Action, and Action
  • Step 7: Achieve your goal and celebrate
  • Step 8: Reset your goal with new ideas and new plans
  • Step 9: Do massive actions consistently and persistently with faith
  • Step 10: Achieve your goal and enjoy the achievements

Always remember, You should set and reset your goal every time with new ideas and new action plans until you achieve it. Review your goal plans every day and keep on working, and never give up. When you give up, you stop making things; people give up their work when they lose their faith. Don’t change your decisions to give up your work with little failures, challenges, or setbacks. You may find more difficulties in the path of success, but don’t give up; you can only conquer the difficulties if you are determined and goal-oriented.

Self-confidence can be attained through practicing your knowledge, skills, and other talents consistently with discipline.

Only knowledge can’t make you efficient and powerful, it must be applied in the right ways to get its outcomes. We all know that exercise is good for health, but how many of us practice it regularly. Knowledge is the information to your mind and if it isn’t practiced repeatedly, never delivers you the outcomes that you might expect.

Confidence is the product of faith. How do you develop your confidence? You can take examples of any sportsman; they go to the playground for playing their games with lots of preparation and practice. They practice many times and every time before going to play their games. The players know how to play well still then they practice their knowledge and experiences to keep them updated and proficient.

What happens, if you go to your exams with lots of preparations; you say to yourself, yes, I’m well prepared and must do my best. You’re speaking with confidence and you do your work with courage – and in this way, the success follows you.

Practicing without persistence and patience never reaches the goal.

Knowledge without practices is just the information that may be vanished at any time from the mind, but when it is practiced, it gets directions and makes you more effective, efficient, and powerful- your mind becomes powerful with clarity and conviction. Applied knowledge and skills boost up self-confidence. Self-confidence is the product of faith, and you can strengthen its power when you put actions consistently with preparations and planning.

3. PRACTISE PATIENCE:

You can’t do any work confidently without faith. Your faith adds to your inner self and makes you proactive and efficient to do productively. If you don’t have faith, you can’t work for success, you can’t take charge of doing preparation and practices. Lots of efforts are needed in the process of success; hence strong patience is a key to enhancing your productivity.

4. LEARN MORE AND PRACTISE MANY TIMES TO BUILD YOUR SELF-CONFIDENCE

Practices with the right knowledge, skills, and ideas draw the best results, and this strength is the key essence to bringing all other talents into power and making them your possessions.
Nothing gives you power until you believe in them. Before driving any vehicles on the road, you must have to learn and practice more times until you feel confident; once you feel confident that you can drive it well, you gather more courage and strengths within you, and then you get going ahead learning more things and practicing them upon a time.

You know everything in your car at the beginning of your learning, this is steering, this is brake, this is the accelerator, this is the gearbox, this is clutch, and other applications that are linked with driving, but you can’t drive it on the right among thousands of vehicles until you practice the applications of your driving skills many times in free space or on the open roads.

5. Increase Your Key Skills

Practicing is the key to mastering any Skills; anyhow you have to practice your knowledge and skills persistently until you attain confidence. To gain confidence and become more confident, you need to practice your knowledge and skills as many times as you can. You know how to drive your vehicle, but your expertise depends on practices. Knowledge gets power when it is practiced more times until you gain confidence and courage.

Before working for any success, you should learn some steps and give basic information to your mind. On moving ahead, you will attain the next steps from time to time, but acquire some knowledge before putting any action.
